Our BrewView on Unibroue’s Éphémère Canneberge was originally published on February 17, 2019.
Brewed since 2013, it is reminiscent of rosé wine with a dry aftertaste of wild pin cherries.

STYLE: Unibroue-style White ale with cherries. 5.5% ABV.
APPEARANCE: Deep copper, salmon color. 3-finger height, faint pink colored head is creamy dense, and leaves thick lacing on the sides of the glass during consumption.
AROMA: Bready Unibroue yeast, massive whiff of cherry skin / cherry stone / cherry cordial, coriander, cherry compote.
FLAVOR: Moderate sweetness of cherry cola, spices, herbs, Le Grand Courtage rosé wine.
MOUTHFEEL: Moderate plus carbonation, light bodied, dry, cherry stone finish.
IMPRESSION: The picture you see in this BrewView is a bottle from June 19, 2013. We obtained a few bottles of this vintage from Unibroue, so just under 5 years aging in the bottle. This is still being made by the brewery, as it is one the top sellers in the Éphémère product line.
