STYLE: British IPA. ABV 5.2%.
APPEARANCE: Deep golden color, with a dense, 2-3 finger height white colored head. Even-sheeted lacing on the sides of the glass as the beer is consumed.
AROMA: Well balanced pine, citrus and grassy notes, with a classic British diacetyl aroma.
FLAVOR: English IPA’s tend to be less hop intense than their US West Coast or East Coast IPA cousins. Again, classic British diacetyl flavors compliment without masking the hop bitterness.
MOUTHFEEL: Medium bodied, light carbonation, dry hoppiness in the finish.
IMPRESSION: Well balanced British IPA. Another sessionable beer. Reminded me of the classic IPA’s from the 80’s.
